MMA/MMC Series

Rigose MMA and Rigose MMA HiRes are multimodal resins designed for post-protein A purification of monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) at process scale. The strong ion exchange multimodal ligand gives a different selectivity compared with traditional ion exchange resins. MMA series can remove key impurities such as DNA, host cell proteins (HCP), leached protein A, aggregatesand viruses in a single step, allowing the design of a two-step process together with protein A resin. If necessary, MMA series can be used in combination with anion or cation exchange chromatography for polishing, as a second or third step in any mAb purification platform. Rigose MMC and Rigose MMC HiRes are multimodal cation exchange resins that are both cationic and hydrophobic and can be used for a direct load of clarified feedstocks, without prior dilution to reduce the conductivity of the starting material.
